Gutter Guardian® material needs to be fitted the correct way round. When you hold the material in front of you and you can see through it, then this is the direction that the water from the roof must come from.

If you now turn the material round 180 degrees you should not be able to see through the guard.

Ensure all the material is the same orientation to prevent installing some pieces the wrong way around. An easy way to ensure this is to mark the material with a marker pen to show you the right way round.

Putting a slight curve into the material before fitting can speed up the process.

Slide the material into the gutter so that the material fits into the back edge of the gutter.

Roll over the top edge of the Gutter Guardian.

Push or pull the gutter away from the roof and then clip the Gutter Guardian into the top rolled lip of the gutter.
